Direct access to counselors.  Counseling and Behavioral Health services are provided by licensed therapists who are trained and qualified to help patients experiencing life stressors or mild to moderate mental health issues. Wherever you receive your primary care, our therapists are here to help you.

Integrated care.  If you select Traverse Health Clinic as your health care home and establish primary care with one of our medical providers, counseling and behavioral health services are integrated with your primary care to address your health care needs as a whole person. Patients benefit from this collaborative approach to care through increased treatment effectiveness and improved health outcomes.

Trained therapists assist individuals in learning constructive ways to handle problems that interfere with everyday life. Behavioral health services are usually time limited and focus on specific goals the patient may want to accomplish. Case management services and referrals to other community resources are available, as needed.
